Other Rugby News

It was a busy June for the rest of the IRB top 20-ranked teams, with the Churchill Cup, Pacific Nations Cup and IRB Nations Cup all running.
Argentina's biggest ever victory over France at the Velez Sarsfield Stadium has moved them above Wales to eighth in the IRB Rankings.
The United States have made two changes for their Rugby World Cup qualifying second leg clash with Canada in Edmonton on Saturday.
The US Eagles celebrated Independence Day with a hard-fought 12-6 victory over Canada in Saturday's Rugby World Cup qualifying tie.
Argentina Jaguars clinched a third-place finish and the Bowl trophy at the Churchill Cup with a 44-29 victory over Canada.
Tom James' first international try helped Wales beat Canada 32-23 in a one-off Test in Toronto on Saturday in a close-fought match.
Declan Kidney's new-look Ireland side began their tour of Canada with an unconvincing 25-6 victory in Vancouver.
Scotland coach Frank Hadden was delighted with the physicality of his side as they swept aside Canada 41-0 in their final autumn Test at Pittodrie.
Scotland did what they wanted and needed on Saturday, beating Canada 41-0 in an icy Pittodrie in Aberdeen.
Earlier this week Scotland's Hugo Southwell spoke of using Saturday's game against Canada as a springboard for next year's Six Nations, and why not?
Scotland captain Mike Blair has urged to unleash their ruthless streak in Saturday's final autumn international against Canada on Saturday.
Argentina may currently occupy fourth position in the IRB World Rankings, but were they to lose to Ireland at Croke Park this weekend then they could lose that position to England, France or Wales depending on results elsewhere.
Scotland have been forced into four changes for Saturday's third and final November Test against Canada at Pittodrie.
Following one win and two losses in Europe, Canada coach Kieran Crowley believes his side's final Test against Scotland on Saturday will be the one to measure the mettle of the team and success of their tour.
Wales are hopeful James Hook will not become the latest injury absentee of their November Test series.
Wales put paid to Canada 34-13 at the Millennium Stadium on Friday. That's it. Ireland's 55-0 romp this was not, nor was it a performance from a second string indicative of a lively new generation coming through. Welsh fans will have to wait a while before they can have cause for optimism as the Irish currently do. Canada's might not though.
Given the events of last Saturday at the Millennium Stadium and Warren Gatland's subsequent wrath, Wales will know they must not only record a convincing victory over Canada on Friday, but record a complete performance to go with it.
James Hook has been urged to boss the game when Wales continue their November Test series against Millennium Stadium visitors Canada on Friday.
Pat Riordan believes Canada's 'club' spirit will be a huge asset as they take on Wales at the Millennium Stadium on Friday.
